The Great Falls Snowmobile Club has been active since the early 1970's. It works in conjunction with the Meagher County Little Belters in White Sulphur Springs, through the Kings Hill Grooming Assocaition, to keep our trails open and groomed in the Kings Hill Recreational area. The club hosts monthly meetings, cookouts, rides, a benefit ride for Farm in the Dell of Great Falls, and the Smokin' Grass Drags in the fall. It is an exciting club with many activities. Come join us in riding what Snowest magazine listed as the best place to ride in Montana in a fall 2005 issue.

January 19, 2012 Logging update
Below is an update from Dan Smrdel about the logging taking place in the Kings Hill riding areas:
I spoke to Bob Gliko this afternoon 1-18-12 at 2pm and he passed the following information on to me. There was approximately 5 inches of new snow at the parking lot and still snowing. The logging is proceeding. The Studhorse sale is still going. Moose Creek & Sheep Creek sales are in the process of hauling logs out and hopefully will be wrapped up sometime next week. The sale on Jumping Creek/Adams Creek has started. The road from the highway up to the area of T & b trails is closed during the week. The roads will be open to snowmobiles from 5pm Friday until midnight Sundayuntil the sales are finished. If anyone needs an update they can contact Belt Creek Ranger Station at1-406-236-5511.
January 20, 2012 Update on Timber sales:
Mass/Geis Timber Sale (Y Trail) or Studhorse Road about half done.
Moose Creek/Sheep Creek (I and U Trails)all done cutting should be done hauling trees by the end of next week if weather permits.

The route for the Great Falls Snowmobile Club ride on Sunday, February 12th has been changed due to the snow and trail conditions.
We will leave the snowmobile parking lot at 10:00 a.m. and ride a loop that will be approximately 60 miles, give or take. The ride will be for all skill levels and the majority of the ride will be on groomed trails.
We will stop about half way and build a fire so you can cook hot dogs or whatever lunch items you decide to bring. Each person is responsible for their own lunch and (non-alcoholic) beverages.
