PIT AND RACER RULES (2011)

 

We organize this event to have FUN!!!!!

 

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THESE RULES AND FOLLOW THEM.

The continuation of this event relies heavily on you, the participant.

 

NO ALCOHOL IN PIT AREA. RACERS CAUGHT DRINKING WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED WITH NO REFUNDS!!!!!!!

 

1.  Absolutely NO WARMING SLEDS IN THE PIT AREA!!! Warm ups will be allowed in the staging area only, and only with use of a shielded track stand.

 

2.  No lifting your sled up & revving it!!!!! No Practice area is available.

 

3.  ISR rules will be used and enforced.

 

4.  All sleds must have a tether switch. Tether switch must be attached and helmet must be on when sled is running.

 

5.  A proper run-up stand is required.

 

6.  Only one person on a sled at all times.

 

7.  No one under 14 in staging area.

 

8.  Tech will be at end of track. Anyone not coming to tech after each run will be DISQUALIFIED.

 

9.  Mandatory fuel tests can be taken at any time

 

10.  Races will be run double elimination.

 

11.  Payouts will be determined by sponsorships received and will be paid out at the discretion of the event organizers.

 

12.  Each racer is allowed 2 pit persons in pit area with the fee of $5.00 gate admission, plus other fees that apply. One pit person in staging area until race begins.

 

13.  All racers, pit crew and spectators will be required to sign a release form.

 

14.  Driver is required to wear a helmet, eye protection, long pants, proper shoes (boots), and shirt. Tech vests strongly recommended.

 

15.  ALL Snowmobiles must pass tech inspection prior to registration.

 

16.  Speed limit in pits is 5 MPH (NO EXCEPTIONS) Violators will be IMMEDIATELY disqualified with NO REFUNDS!!!!
